RipTips by Gordo Scientific

Made in Pine, Colorado by Gordo Scientific, The Rip Tip is the perfect glass tip accessory for smoking joints and blunts!
Cardboard/paper filters are old news. Upgrade your rolls with our reusable glass tips.

Customers are always curious about the sizes of The RipTip, so we put together a helpful guide to illustrate some of the different sizes and uses.

7mm - Small (~ ¼”) personal size joint, spliff or blunt. Less than 1 gram

8mm - Mid-range jumper. Not quite a layup, not quite a 3-pointer. Swish

9mm - OG size, most popular! Good for 1.5 - 2 grams with king-sized papers.

10mm - Gettin' Bigger (~ ⅓”) Great for sharing - golf, weddings, concerts, etc.  Best with 2-2.5 grams and king-sized papers.

11mm - 3 grams and a king-sized paper will take you all the way. Share or don't!

12mm Large (~ ½”) Party Size, made for sharing and/or special projects.        Best with 3.5+ grams and king-sized papers.

When shopping, you'll have the option to choose your size of The RipTip before checking out.

When the team makes a batch of The RipTips, it's not out of the ordinary that we can (and will) get a variety of different sizes in one pull. For example, there may be 8mm-11mm with some measuring 8.4 or 10.3 (and every size in between) as the pull naturally fluctuates.

After the pull, The RipTip is measured by hand with a set of digital calipers which are categorized by the whole millimeter only and no rounding is applied. For example, when you purchase an 8mm tip, it can be anywhere from 8.00mm-8.99. This is the same for all whole sizes.

The size stickers on The RipTips are meant to be more of a guide, not precise measurements.

  • 6mm = 6.00mm thru 6.99mm
  • 7mm = 7.00mm thru 7.99mm
  • 8mm = 8.00mm thru 8.99mm
  • 9mm = 9.00mm thru 9.99mm

These are the only thing I use. I have so many of them. They help you roll a perfect joint every single time, they burn perfect and the airflow is A1. Highly recommend.
